Buying Bahamian Return Policy
At Buying Bahamian, we strive to ensure that our customers are completely satisfied with their purchases. We understand that sometimes things don’t go as planned, and returns may be necessary. Below is our comprehensive return policy to help guide you through the process:
General Return Guidelines
- Eligibility:
- Items must be returned within 30 days of the delivery date.
- Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in the same condition as when they were received.
- Certain items such as perishable goods, personalized items, and intimate goods may not be eligible for return.
- Return Process:

- Provide your order number, item details, and reason for the return.
- Our team will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return instructions.
- Shipping:
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item received was damaged or incorrect.
- Ensure that the return package is securely packed to prevent damage during shipping.
- We recommend using a trackable shipping method to ensure your return reaches us safely.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
- Reporting Issues:
- Inspect your order upon receipt and report any damages or incorrect items within 7 days of delivery.
- Contact Customer Support with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos if applicable.
- Resolution:
- We will arrange for a replacement item to be sent or issue a full refund for the damaged or incorrect item.
- In some cases, we may request that you return the damaged or incorrect item using a prepaid shipping label provided by us.
Refunds

- Once we receive your return, we will inspect the item and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- If approved, refunds will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5-10 business days.
- Partial Refunds:
- Partial refunds may be granted for items that are returned with missing parts, signs of use, or not in their original condition.
Exchanges
- Exchanging Items:
- If you need to exchange an item for a different size, color, or variant, please follow the return process and place a new order for the desired item.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Non-Returnable Items
- Perishable Goods: Food, flowers, and other perishable items.
- Personalized Items: Custom-made or personalized products.
- Downloadable software products
- Intimate Goods: Underwear, swimsuits, and other intimate items.
- Gift Cards: Non-returnable and non-refundable.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at support@buyingbahamian.com and send your item to: {physical address}.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
Shipping returns
To return your product, you should mail your product to: {physical address}.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
